Writing & Reading Center
The Writing and Reading Center at Central Carolina Community College (推荐正规买球平台) wants to assist students with building strong foundations of essential writing skills as well as effective reading comprehension. 推荐正规买球平台 students have free access to a range of services including one-on-one coaching and content specific workshops.
Currently, the Writing & Reading Center provides three different ways to receive coaching: In Person Coaching, Scheduled Virtual Coaching Appointments, and the Online Writing Lab.
In-Person Drop-In Hours for Each Campus

- Monday & Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
- Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Friday: 12:30 - 3:30 p.m.
- Chatham
- Monday - Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Harnett
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Scheduled Virtual Coaching Appointments
You may also schedule a virtual meeting with a Writing Coach. In these appointments you will be communicating by microphone & webcam. You may request an appointment by emailing the Writing & Reading Center email, writingcenter@knowledge-gate.com. You will be contacted via email to schedule the appointment and receive the meeting link. Please remember to have your assignment prompt ready for your appointment.
Online Writing Lab
Students have the option of asynchronous coaching using the Online Writing Lab. If you have already completed an assignment and would like to receive feedback in a written form, this is an option. Be aware this service is not live and there may be a delay in response during high volume times of the semester (midterms and finals weeks).

We understand that not all schedules permit visiting the Writing and Reading Center during the hours of operation, and we are pleased to offer the Online Writing Lab for your convenience. After successfully submitting your work, one of our coaches will review the request and respond accordingly within 48 hours (not including weekends, holidays, or periods of high volume). Work submitted after 6pm will be reviewed the following business day.
